BEFORE YOU START

A few practical
details.

What you need to connect your business and manage your plan.

What do I need to get started?

A business Microsoft 365 tenant, your own work account to sign in, and access to an administrator who can approve the required permissions. Bayescope manages the agent environment.

What can agents do besides outreach?

Research business questions, compare suppliers and options, keep registers and lists current, watch for changes and prepare reports. Many tasks never send an external message.

Can I use an existing mailbox?

Yes. Each agent that sends email can use a new or existing Microsoft 365 mailbox. An existing mailbox keeps its address and mail history. Stop any previous automation on that mailbox before activating your agent.

Do agents send emails automatically?

Approval is the default: you review drafts before they are sent from the agent’s Microsoft 365 mailbox. You can turn on automatic sending for a task, and messages are still sent only if they pass Bayescope’s checks.

Why does first contact ask permission?

South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (section 69) allows marketing by email only to people who have consented or are existing customers, and lets a business ask for consent once. So an agent’s first email to a new contact is a short request, written from its research, asking whether they would like to hear about your services. A yes is recorded as consent and opens the conversation; silence or a no ends it.

How will monthly billing work?

When paid signup opens, Paystack will handle recurring card payments. You will be able to manage your card or cancel future renewals from Billing. Paid access continues until the end of your paid period. See our Refund policy.

How do LinkedIn and WhatsApp work on Omnichannel?

You connect your own accounts on a secure page run by LinkupAPI, our channel provider, and choose which agents may use each one. Daily limits and working hours keep activity human-paced. You remain responsible for following LinkedIn's and WhatsApp's terms, and any platform can restrict an account it considers automated.

What does the social media manager do?

On Omnichannel, an agent plans posts for the slots you set, writes captions in your tone, generates images and short videos within your monthly allowance, and publishes to your Facebook Page, its Instagram business account and LinkedIn. Approval before publishing is the default, and every post follows your brand rules, approved claims and AI disclosure.

Can I change plans?

Yes. First cancel the renewal of your current plan in Billing, so two plans never renew together. An upgrade to Omnichannel can then start straight away; a downgrade starts when your paid period ends. To have the rest of a month credited, email us and we will adjust your next invoice. When Omnichannel ends, connected LinkedIn and WhatsApp accounts are suspended and then disconnected.

What are the usage allowances?

Research, monitoring and outreach use shared business allowances. The final allowances have not been published yet and will be available before paid signup opens.

Who operates Bayescope?
